Daniel 1:8

SV	Daniel nu nam voor in zijn hart, dat hij zich niet zou ontreinigen met de stukken van de spijs des konings, noch met den wijn zijns dranks; daarom verzocht hij van den overste der kamerlingen, dat hij zich niet mocht ontreinigen.
WLC	וַיָּ֤שֶׂם דָּנִיֵּאל֙ עַל־לִבֹּ֔ו אֲשֶׁ֧ר לֹֽא־יִתְגָּאַ֛ל בְּפַתְבַּ֥ג הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ וּבְיֵ֣ין מִשְׁתָּ֑יו וַיְבַקֵּשׁ֙ מִשַּׂ֣ר הַסָּרִיסִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֖ר לֹ֥א יִתְגָּאָֽל׃
Trans.	wayyāśem dānîyē’l ‘al-libwō ’ăšer lō’-yiṯəgā’al bəfaṯəbaḡ hammeleḵə ûḇəyên mišətāyw wayəḇaqqēš miśśar hassārîsîm ’ăšer lō’ yiṯəgā’āl:

AC	ח וישם דניאל על לבו אשר לא יתגאל בפת בג המלך וביין משתיו ויבקש משר הסריסים אשר לא יתגאל
ASV	But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the king's dainties, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
BE	And Daniel had come to the decision that he would not make himself unclean with the king's food or wine; so he made a request to the captain of the unsexed servants that he might not make himself unclean.
Darby	And Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not pollute himself with the king's delicate food, nor with the wine which he drank; and he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not have to pollute himself.
ELB05	Und Daniel nahm sich in seinem Herzen vor, sich nicht mit der Tafelkost des Königs und mit dem Weine, den er trank, zu verunreinigen; und er erbat sich von dem Obersten der Kämmerer, daß er sich nicht verunreinigen müsse.
LSG	Daniel résolut de ne pas se souiller par les mets du roi et par le vin dont le roi buvait, et il pria le chef des eunuques de ne pas l'obliger à se souiller.
Sch	Daniel aber nahm sich vor, sich mit des Königs feiner Speise und mit dem Weine, den er trank, nicht zu verunreinigen; er erbat sich von dem obersten Kämmerer, daß er sich nicht verunreinigen müsse.
